Ores and Forging
Ores and How to Collect Them
Last updated:
Find ores by name or rarity, check known Dungeon and Tower sources, and learn how to collect drops and increase ore bag capacity.
Search an ore by name or alias and filter by rarity. In the Dungeon, defeat enemies, approach a ground drop, and press E when Collect appears. Return to the hub to find collected materials in Backpack > Ore.

Ores are materials for the Forge, and each pickup takes a slot in the ore bag. Use the directory to identify an ore and check any known source before heading out to collect it.

Find an Ore by Name or Rarity
Search matches ore names and aliases: Cryostasis finds Cryo-Stasis, and Glace-Box finds Glac-Box. The rarity filter narrows the results alongside the search. Use Reset to clear both.
Compare the listed rarity and source area when choosing where to look. A blank field does not assign an ore a rarity or a location. The ground coin label is the number shown beside a drop in the Dungeon; do not treat it as the ore's selling price. The directory’s default order does not indicate strength or the order in which ores must be collected.
Collect Dungeon Drops
- Enter the Dungeon and defeat enemies in the battle area.
- Walk up to a named ore on the ground. Press E when Collect appears; a successful pickup increases the carried ore count by one.
- Click Back at the top of the Dungeon screen to return to the hub, then open Backpack > Ore to inspect what you brought back. The Forge also lists available ores as materials. For the material and preview steps, see How to Forge Weapons and Armor.
The carried count tracks bag space during the run. After returning to the hub, that count resets and the acquired ores appear in the inventory.

Known Areas and Special Sources
| Where to look | Ore and condition |
|---|---|
| After the Stage 4 battle, before the Stage 5 entrance | Emerald can be collected from the ground. Approach it and press E when Collect appears. |
| Dungeon Stage 11 combat area | Sunfire Ore and Emerald can appear on the ground. Approaching Sunfire Ore shows E Collect; press E to pick it up if the ore bag has space. |
| Dungeon Stage 14 area | Magma Cluster, Abyssal Blue, Acid Crystal, and Toxic Shard have appeared as ground drops in this area. |
| Dungeon Stage 15 arena, after defeating Korgul | Omni can appear on the ground. Check the arena and use E Collect if the prompt appears; its presence does not mean Korgul is guaranteed to drop it. |
| Golden Goblin encounter | Omni or Sunfire Ore can drop; neither is guaranteed. A spawn notice can identify the stage where Golden Goblin appears. |
| Snow Golem King, Dungeon Stage 22 | Panic-Core is a possible reward after defeating the boss. Prism and Glitch can appear in the arena after combat, but finding them there does not identify their specific drop source. |
| Frostbound Tower, Round 21 | Omni is a possible round reward. Frostbound Tower unlocks after 2 Rebirths, and starting a run uses 1 Tower Ticket. |
The Stage 14 examples describe an area where those ores have appeared, not an exclusive stage or a guaranteed drop. For boss progression, see Dungeon Stages, Bosses, and Golden Goblin. For the separate round based mode, see the Frostbound Tower Guide.

When the Ore Bag Is Full
Check the carried count against the bag’s current capacity before another pickup. The starting capacity is 4 ore slots. When the count reaches the limit, another Collect attempt displays Pack is full and leaves the ore on the ground.
To carry more ore, buy the next Max Ore Count tier with coins at the hub’s Upgrade stall. Each purchased tier adds one slot. You can also open Index, claim available entry EXP, then claim an unlocked Ore Bag reward. An Ore Bag +1 reward adds one slot; an Ore Bag +2 reward adds two. Selling Items and Buying Coin Upgrades covers the coin upgrade choice, while Index Collection and Rewards explains claiming collection rewards.
Max Ore Count +12 is the maximum coin upgrade bonus, not the total bag size. With earned Index rewards, a bag can show 24 total slots. If you are defeated while carrying ores, Your Lost Ores can appear and the carried count can reset; return with valuable drops rather than treating a full bag as stored inventory.
